I had a chance to speak with NFL Lineman Eric Moore. A very down to earth, approachable, faith-driven and all-around nice guy. As a player he was considered by many to be one of the top line-backers in the nation and the best linebacker prospect in Florida in 2000 as a Pahokee High School Blue Devil. He went on to be a Florida State Seminole, where he was an All-American and All-ACC candidate as a senior in 2004, the Seminoles' top returning pass rusher, and potentially one of the best in the country. From there he was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round (186th overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft. He went on to play for the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams, Carolina Panthers, and most recently the New England Patriots. He is currently a free agent but I highly doubt that he will be for long.
